My First Knitting Pattern on Ravelry

If you are on Ravelry, look for my "Squiggle Scarf" pattern, a knitted scarf that I designed and will be entering in the North Carolina State Fair. A PDF of the pattern is also here on my blog in the "Patterns" page section. This is my first ever knitting design, and I can't wait to see how it does in the designer knitting category. The scarf is fun to knit, but I learned that even a simple pattern is hard to write clearly and accurately.

Yes, patterns are much more difficult to write than a knitter would suppose! Love your squiggle scarf, good luck for the fair.

Lovely scarf, great texture ! All the best for the fair.
I believe pattern writing & presentation always takes longer than the actual knitting, tatting, or crochet.
I've been reading your posts on thread fails with your insights & experiments. Always helpful

Thank you! Just this minute I finished sewing in the tails on the one I plan to enter into the fair. Now to move on to finish the  crochet entries I've started.
