Off the Shuttle: Black & White Handkerchief Edging

This is another from my collection of vintage handkerchiefs. This one is cream with a black border. The thread I used for the tatted edging is also vintage: J & P Coats Tatting-Crochet thread in size 80, color 12-D. The pattern is a simple one of single rings separated by chains. I think I found it in an Anne Orr book, but it's a pretty commonly-found pattern.
