Off the Hook: Crocheted Bowl

I crocheted this bowl for my Recycled Fibers Projects demonstration at the 2012 Carolina Fiber Fest. I made it out of one of my daughter's t-shirts.

I just HAD to come over to your blog after reading your comment to Jane Eborall about the new tatting shuttles! I'm amazed your brother-in-law is the person who is responsible for designing the shuttle! That has to be an interesting story! And somehow I've missed your blog, as you do a lot of tatting! I'll be reading your past posts soon! I'm also a knitter and crocheter, so I see there are a lot of other crafts, too! And you're a member of a tatting group! Have you been to Palmetto Tat Days? I'm up here in PA, and have never been there, although this would be a great year to go, with Jane and her sister coming over!

Hi, Kathy! Yes, I've been to a couple of Palmetto Tat Days a few years back. If you ever get a chance to go, do it. You'll meet a great bunch of tatters and take some interesting classes with wonderful teachers.
