It's been a while since I have made any, but the fair competition inspired me to try my hand at it. I have trouble keeping the thread on tiny knitting needles...it keeps wanting to slip off. I find it easier to tat with fine threads than to knit or crochet with them. I feel I have better control of the thin threads.
