I put down a layer of mod podge and put the paper over it. Let it dry completely. (DO NOT put modge podge on TOP of the paper until the modge podge UNDER the paper is dried. If you rush it, that is when you get rips - been there, done that!)

Coat the top with no more than 2 coats of mod podge - drying thoroughly in between. (High Humidity days make for longer drying time.) Then I clean up the excess paper from the edges of the shuttle with a nail file or dremel.

Finally, I top it with 2 coats of clear nail polish. I tried Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Nail Coat because it has such a pretty gloss - BUT it is too slick and makes the shuttle hard to hold on to. Now I use Sally Hansen Hard as Nails. Great glossy finish and a good texture to grip.Sarah Woodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13163854505975803762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6971641064782887434.post-67910864315575620002017-03-21T01:35:44.191-04:002017-03-21T01:35:44.191-04:00Love the info and variety you've shared !
